The icing on the cake

Ok, so after a lovely day with Rachel on her 3rd Gotcha Day, I always get her ready for bed and read stories, sing and end the day with a prayer and hugs and kisses. Well tonight was different, Daddy came in and Rachel asked him to tell her a story. So he told her the story about her Gotcha Day, by this time tears were rolling down my face. Mark can tell a great story. After the story we asked Daddy to stay for the prayer. I have always done the prayer and tonight Rachel said she wanted to say the prayer. As we all held hands Rachel said the prayer, Well picture this a sweet little angel saying a prayer from the heart, it was the best prayer I ever heard. my heart is full and I am so grateful that we have such a sweet and lovely little girl. I am so lucky. Being a mom is the best thing that has ever happen to me besides being married to Mark. So tonight was the icing on the cake.

Remembering our special Day three years ago

Then and now

It's amazing how time flys, it feels just like yesterday that we were in China getting Rachel. It's been three years today that we got Rachel that's why it is called Gotcha Day. I can't tell you how much she has changed our lives. She is a beautiful princess and we love her more than anything. Here is a picture that was sent to us from China which was called our referral picture and the princess picture was taken yesterday at our travel group Gotcha day party.

Gotcha Day

Today we went over to our Friends house Michele and Jamie's to celebrate Gotcha Day, Our three year anniversary. This was a very special day for all of us, it was the day our babies were put in to our arms forever. It has been three years now, I can't believe how time fly's, it's so much fun watching them all grow up and become good friend. They all played so well gather. I have to add not only are the the girls YJ sisters, I feel we are have a special bond with all the families. I am so glad I have them all in my live.

A snuggle day

Rachel is feeling a little under the weather with yet other cold, this had been a bad season for colds, I am not surprised most of our friends kids have been sick with it. So I guess it was just a matter of time. So I decide to just stay at home today and have a snuggle day reading and resting for her. So we were reading and the cat decided to join us, so I took a picture. And as we were reading I looked out the window and if you can believe this it's snowing. This is crazy it's Spring. Where is the lovely sun. Sharon C don't forget you said you would bring some back from AZ with you.

Beautiful Spring

My favorite time of the year is Spring, I love the beautiful fresh spring flowers and the air is fresh and clean and it's starting to get warmer. Rachel Chinese name means Beautiful spring. My friend Suzane asked me if I wanted to pick some of her daffodils they were bright yellow and fresh, so Rachel had so much fun helping me pick them.

Sunset on the beach in CA

Disneyland

Disneyland

Disneyland

We just got back from an amazing family trip to Disneyland. The weather was so nice about 75 and sunny. When were got there we hired a car and went to the bleach for a few hours and watched the sunset. the first day at Disneyland was amazing I think we walked about 20 miles well thanks how it felt to my feet. The rides were only about 15 min wait, except for the 1 1/3 wait to see the princesses, but that was worth the wait. To see the look in Rachel's eyes was amazing, I have to admit I shed a few tears and I think I saw a tear or in Marks eyes too. We stayed the whole day until 8;00pm watch the parade and then crowed back to the car, our feet were killing us.
