Our journey of Faith
What a week it's been. To make a long story short, Mark went in for surgery Wed to remove a small lump from my neck. It was tested immediately and is cancerous it's called Squamous cell carcinoma. The good news is that it is very treatable and with about 6 weeks of treatment (radiation/chemo) He should be as good as new. The treatments are likely to start in about 4-6 weeks.
This is Marks words "I'm telling my story to remind all my friends and family that we are not invincible and to take every moment with
your family and friends as a precious gift. In a matter of a couple of days I've been incredibly humbled and blessed
by the show of love and support I've already received from friends and family and as I embark on a new journey of faith and awakening.
I will be fine. My wonderful wife Dawn has the biggest challenge as she has to deal with me and whatever I will not
be able to do during this time. Any prayers you can make on her behalf are much appreciated". I smile when I read this because he is on some great drugs. So I am also asking you to pray but not for me for MARK and our sweet daughter.
Here is something really cool, Marks surgeon's name is Dr. Faith
