Sophies Gotcha Day

It was was year ago that we adopted our dog so Rachel wanted to have a Gotcha Day party, we had so much fun. Rachel invited her friend Willow to celebrate it with us. Rachel made lots of pictures and posters, cards and we put up streamers and balloons. we had princess crowns, we made a doggie cake and the girls had there own treats. Rachel gave Sophie a doggie gift and sang happy Gotcha Day. We all had a great time.

First day of Kindergarten

Sept 8th was Rachel's first day of Kindergarten, I was very sad to say good bye to her, when i kissed her she said"Mama don't forget if you feel sad you can look at that rock i gave you and you will think of me and feel better". When i picked her up i was expecting her to been happy, but she said the kids were not nice to her and they would play with her, kids can be so mean sometimes. When we got home she did her home work and is now reading and is feel much better. I am going to spend the half day in her class room tomorow so i am looking forward to getting to know her teacher and the kids better.

Rachel meets her teacher for the first time today

So it's official I am a cry baby, Rachel met her teacher today and we got to see her desk and I cried and it isn't even her first day. Her teacher for short is called MRS. B was very nice, she tested Rachel and I was so proud of her. She is going to love school.

Family from England

We had an amazing time with my Cousins from England. Yvonne, Nick & Lisa. We went to Seattle, Space Needle, Ferry ride, Canada Capilano suspension bridge, Down town Vancouver, Beach, Snoqualmie Falls. Hiking to the Falls was amazing. Some of my highlights was watching the stars with Lisa and just having the time with Yvonne to catch up and chat. It was hard to say goodbye and of cores Rachel fell in Love with them.
