Make new FRIENDS.......
So I was feeling a little sad this morning after being told our ward was being split last night. I have made many dear friends in this ward and I turned around and looked at all the people I was going to miss and I just cried my heart out. Yes I know I am a big cry baby but but when your family live so far away your friends are your family. Anyway I talked to one of my best friends from other ward (Lori) her parents are going to be in the same ward, she sang a song to me which made me feel better it went like this.
" Make new FRIENDS, but keep the old. One is silver and the other is gold".
There is a time and season for everything and Spring is here which means new beginnings. so Why am I crying again......
We love to go Geocashing...........
We love to go Geocahing, it get us out and about as a family. It's like going treasure hunting.
We found four in Duvall yesterday and the were easy to find. Rachel get to pick the teasure out its great for everyone because you get exercise while having lots of fun.
The Rules:
This growing outdoor sport has a simple set of rules, making it easy for anyone to play. The challenging part is finding the cache. Some caches have even been planted on mountainsides and underwater!
Once geocachers find a cache, they follow these basic rules:
fill out the logbook
take something out of the cache
put something in the cache
return the cache to the exact position and condition in which it was found
Caches typically consist of a waterproof container discreetly placed within the local terrain. The container will include a logbook and any number of more or less valuable items such as toys, books, money, jewelry, trinkets, etc. You never know what the founder or other visitors of the cache may have left for you to enjoy. Be sure to fill out the logbook with the date and time you visit the cache and leave something in return.
